Planning your visit
What to know before a Halifax inspection
Salt air and outdoor equipment
Coastal salt air corrodes outdoor terminations, pad-mount transformers and rooftop equipment, and corroded connections run hot. Include outdoor and exposed equipment in the scope, and we plan outdoor scans for calm, dry conditions where possible and record the conditions in the report.
Multi-tenant access
Office and residential buildings often need property-management approval, elevator or loading-dock bookings and keys for tenant electrical rooms. Send the access contacts for each building so the whole scan happens in one visit.
Hurricane-season readiness
Late summer and fall storms test generators, transfer switches and outdoor equipment. A scan before the season finds weak connections while there is still time to repair them.
